Tarn Country House itself offers a choice of 9 charmingly decorated, spacious bedrooms, each with their own entrance, en-suite bathroom and sweeping views.

The extensive grounds are attractively landscaped with indigenous plants, and if the temptation of the sea a couple of kilometres away is not enough, there is a large swimming pool. Tarn has an excellent French-Mauritian restaurant with a good choice of freshly prepared food, often served on the patio.

Situated in Whiskey Creek Nature Reserve between Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma, Tarn ensures guests make the most of the areas mild climate.

Away from the welcoming log fire in the lounge, numerous activities can be arranged, including dolphin watching in the bay, horse riding on the beautiful white sandy beaches or fishing in the nearby Keurboom’s River. The famous walking, biking and bird watching of the Plettenberg Bay area are also readily accessible.
