The Plettenberg Hotel is an elegant 5-star Relais & Chateaux hotel occupying a prime position on the Plettenberg Bay sea front. It lies between two excellent swimming beaches, with Plettenberg Bay’s shops and restaurants only a short walk away.

There are a total of 38 luxurious rooms and suites all of which are air-conditioned and offer an idyllic and exclusive experience. The hotel boasts two infinity edge swimming pools, one of which is heated, which appear to flow into the Indian Ocean below. The hotel’s ‘Sand’ restaurant serves superb global cuisine, with an emphasis on seafood, whilst dolphins and whales are frequently sighted from the hotel terraces.

For an exclusive private getaway, The Plettenberg Hotel’s two fabulous villas – the ‘Beach House’ and ‘Lookout Villa’ are ideal. The three bedroom Lookout Villa has wonderful views of the sweeping bay from its open plan lounge and dining room. It has a well stocked galley kitchen and the house is equipped with flat screen televisions, DVD players and every other mod con one could imagine.

The Beach House is situated next to the hotel's main building. Decorated in soft creams and blues with bleached wooden floors, it ensures utmost privacy and seclusion, while still having access to all the hotel facilities and 24-hour butler service.

The Beach House has two en-suite bedrooms, a large sitting room with fireplace, dining room and small service kitchen. The main bedroom leads onto a sundeck and private swimming pool, with spectacular views of the bay and mountains.
