Rosenhof Country House

Rosenhof Country House is a traditional Victorian homestead built in 1852, occupying an enviable location on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, enroute to the world famous Cango Caves.

Recently restored and renovated, Rosenhof Country House offers discerning guests some of the finer comforts in life. On hot summer days relax by the swimming pool, enjoy tea under the gazebo or wander in the meticulously manicured rose gardens.

If not out enjoying a trip to the local crocodile or cheetah farms, then the Wellness centre is on hand to provide a fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, Jacuzzi and massage.

The 12 individually styled bedrooms and 2 luxury suites are furnished with flair in the traditional Cape Victorian style.

The two Executive Suites each have their own pool, lounge and patio, with tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain.

Rosenhof has a cosy pub and several luxury lounges with fireplaces where visitors can relax and admire works from well-known South African artists.

In summer, cool down in the pool or take tea in the manicured gardens. The Wellness Center offers a fully equipped gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and a beauty clinic.

The main manor exudes authenticity and sophisticated taste, with its luxury lounges, exquisite antique furniture, yellowwood beams and ceilings, and paintings by well known South Africa artists.

The whole Rosenhof experience is rounded off by the wonderful cordon-bleu cuisine, vintage wine cellar and chance to indulge in an after dinner cognac in the smoking room.
