Rhino Walking Safaris specialise in exclusive walking safaris in the only official private concession in the Kruger sharing an unfenced border with the Kruger national park and world renowned Sabi Sands Game Reserve. With three very different luxury camps this is an ideal location for walking in an internationally renowned big five area offering amazing game viewing.

Rhino Post Safari Lodge is set on the banks of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed on the southern end of the concession. The eight eco friendly luxury suites are raised on stilts allowing guests a fantastic view of the riverbed from the bedroom, bathroom, outside shower or your private deck. Activities at Rhino Post Safari Lodge are primarily game drives with optional safari walks.

Plains Camp is situated in the heart of the wilderness concession overlooking the spectacular Timbitene Plain and waterhole and is reached by a 30 minute drive or 3 hour walk from Rhino Post Safari Lodge. Built in an authentic pioneer tradition, Plains Camp offers four luxury explorer style tents with en suite bathrooms and all the comforts of home with the African wilderness on your doorstep. Activities at Plains Camp are primarily walking safaris but game drives are also available upon request.

The third Rhino Walking Safari camp offers a true wilderness experience on elevated wooden sleep out platforms and is reached by a 1.5 hour walk from Plains Camp - it is a rustic affair where one sleeps with under the stars and feels at one with nature.

Various walking trails are available between the camps and vary from 3-5 nights – please ask for more details
