Jaci’s Safari Lodge and Jaci’s Tree Lodge are situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, boasting 75 000 hectares of big five territory. Jaci’s Safari Lodge and Jaci’s Tree Lodge are renowned for being child friendly lodges and welcome children of all ages. Children aged 7 years and under are taken on their own children’s game drive and babysitters are provided to look after the “littlies” when the parents are out on game activities.

Jaci’s Safari Lodge
Jaci’s Safari Lodge features only eight large en-suite rooms all beautifully decorated and with outdoor “safari” showers. The rooms have thatched roofs, canvas walls and tented windows - inviting you to enjoy your bush surroundings. Children sharing with parents are comfortable accommodated on camping stretchers. (maximum three children per room). The main lodge is situated at an ideal spot overlooking a water hole on the edge of the Groot Marico River and is built around an ancient termite mound.

The lodge consists of a spacious lounge and open plan dining area with uninterrupted views of the bush. Meals are prepared in the ultra modern kitchen in full view of the dining area and can been eaten outside in the boma (reed enclosure) or out in the bush surrounded by nature. Relax next to the pool or enjoy bird watching from the hammock on the bank of the river. Jaci’s also has a fully equipped gym and a kiddie’s area.

The Nare Suite is Jaci’s exclusive 2 bedroom bush retreat. The villa can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests and has its own private lounge, outdoor dining area, swimming pool and kitchen for your chef to prepare your meals in your own private suite.

Jaci’s Tree Lodge
Jaci’s Tree Lodge is the newer of the lodges and comprises of eight “tree houses.” The suites are constructed on stilts above the Riverine forest 6 meters above the ground and are linked to the main lodge by wooden walkways. Each “tree houses” is spacious with an en-suite bathroom, large stone bath, an outdoor shower and a private deck. The main lodge is decorated in vibrant colours and unique African crafts. The lodge offers a magnificent bar and lounge area separated from the dining area by a four sided fireplace, and outdoor dining on the deck above the forest floor.
