Madikwe Hills is situated in the 'malaria free' Madikwe Game Reserve, traversing over 75 000 hectares of true untamed Africa, where the plains still team with game and the Wild Dog roam freely amongst the ‘Big 5’.
 
The 10 ultra-luxurious glass-fronted spacious suites complete with their own expansive decks and private plunge pools, are ingeniously placed amongst the granite boulders and age old Tamboti trees with high walkways linking them all together. The main outside dining area looks out over a large waterhole where herds of elephant and buffalo are often known to gather.

Little Madikwe Hills consists of a two-bedroomed Presidential Suite which is prefect for small groups & familes. Seperate from the main lodge Little Madikwe has its own large deck and pool overlooking a waterhole, a lounge / dining room, kitchen where all meals and prepared, butler service and a private game vehicle and guide (Little Madikwe can also be turned into a private camp accommodating 8 guests by taking 2 luxury suites from the main lodge).

 

Madikwe Hills operates game drives in open landrovers and optional walking safaris and led by knowledgeable bush guides who will ensure that your experiences are not only educational but exceptional. The game drives last for approximately three hours.

Enjoy bush spa treatments and the gym, plus there is a small shop for souvenirs, a library, internet and wifi facilities.

Getting there: 50 min scheduled flight directly from Jo'burg to Madikwe Game Reserve or a 4 hour drive from Jo'burg.
