This diverse Big Five reserve is home to four unique lodges. Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge's nine spacious suites line the lush Great Fish River, while Kwandwe Ecca Lodge's one-of-a-kind, quirky suites are surrounded by rolling slopes.

Kwandwe's two sole-use safari villas, Uplands Homestead and Melton Manor, each designed with elegance and comfort in mind, are the ideal place for families or small groups sharing a Big Five adventure.

Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge is set along the banks of the Great Fish River and offers spectacular views of the wild landscape. The beautiful thatched guest areas are stylishly furnished in earth-toned fabrics, integrating colonial settler history with local African culture. The lounge, library and dining room lead out onto an expansive viewing deck with breathtaking views overlooking the river.

The nine spacious thatched, stone and glass suites feature floor-to-ceiling doors which fold back to reveal uninterrupted views of the wilderness. Each suite with en suite bathroom has an indoor and outdoor shower, private plunge pools and a thatched game viewing deck.

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge is designed of stone-and-mesh walls, sliding glass windows, timber and gauze doors and corrugated iron roofing, and embodies a “funk-meets-futuristic-farmhouse” ambience. The main guest areas include a spacious sitting room, dining room and bar area, interactive kitchen, sparkling rim-flow pool and unique interpretive centre.
