South Africa Waterberg Family Safari

Safari in the malaria-free Waterberg region of South Africa's Limpopo Province - choose between Ant's Nest and Ant's Hill, very private bush homes on their own game reserves.

Day 1
Check in at London Heathrow for your overnight flight to Johannesburg.

Days 2-7
On arrival into Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred (about 3 hours) to Ant's Hill, where you will spend the next seven nights, with all meals and local drinks included.

Horse riding, game drives and game walks are also included.

Children of all ages can enjoy safaris at Ant's. They have a selection of ponies catering to both the novice and experienced child rider. Beginners will be led by a competent guide and riding lessons are also available.

They've created specialised kids “bug” and “spoor” walks, although driving in an open 4 X 4 on game drives is always popular.

Both lodges have various facilities ideal for kids, such as the heated swimming pool, a trampoline, sand pits, a badminton & volley ball net with a selection of toys and books. Children are welcome to join their parents for dinner (but special suppers or meal times can also be arranged).

Day 8
Early this afternoon you will be transferred back to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to London.

Day 9
Arrive early morning into London Heathrow.
