Two week Safari and Beach honeymoon combining one of our favourite romantic Safari Lodges in the Kruger region of South Africa - with just over a week on the remote and unspoilt beaches of the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique – a barefoot luxury paradise.

Why these particular properties ?
Garonga Safari Camp, and Marlin Lodge or Azura Retreat - are all amazing places. We know because we have stayed at all of them, and loved the service and the facilities. BUT that is not all... for honeymooners, we have given a free night at Garonga, and two free nights at Marlin Lodge. That is savings of between £747 and £832 per person (depending on when you are travelling).

Itinerary

Day 1
Depart London Heathrow at 21h30 on South African Airways flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2
On arrival at approx 09h20 in Johannesburg, transfer onto your connecting South Africa Airways flight to the Kruger (Phalaborwa airport). This flight takes 1 hour. On arrival you will be met and transferred (45 mins) to Garonga Safari Camp to stay for five nights with all meals, all drinks (soft drinks and alcohol) and scheduled game viewing activities included.

Days 3, 4, 5, 6
Full days wildlife viewing from Garonga. Garonga offers day time and night time 4x4 game drives, as well as guided bush walks.

Day 7
After morning game viewing, transfer by light aircraft to the main Kruger airport in time for the scheduled flight direct to Vilanculos on the Mozambique Coast. This flight takes about 1 hour, and you'll be met when you land by a friendly Marlin Lodge representative who will transfer you to the jetty for the 20 minute boat trip across to the very delightful Marlin Lodge.

Stay here for the next eight nights in a luxury beach chalet, with all meals included.

Days 8 - 14
The island is honeymoon heaven – with mile up on mile of deserted beaches.

Apart from sunbathing by the pool or on the beach, things to do include, snorkelling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, boogie boarding, deep sea fishing, sailing and trips to dophin beach on the other side of the island (where the lodge can set up a lovely private beach picnic – recommended !)

Day 15
Transfer back to Vilanculos to connect with the afternoon flight departing to Johannesburg. On arrival check in for South African Airways flight departing to London.

Day 16
Arrive early morning back into London.
