Garden Route Holiday | Western to Eastern Cape

This itinerary comprises everything which epitomises the Garden Route - with small boutique hotels, offering delicious food in some of South Africa's most captivating landscapes. You can take in Cape Town, the Winelands, Plettenberg Bay and finally enjoy some exceptional safari and wildlife viewing on Amakhala in the Eastern Cape.

Day 1 Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Cape Town.

Day 2 Arrive into Cape Town and collect your hire car (Group B or similar) - stay for the next three nights at Table Mountain Lodge in a classic double room including breakfast.

Day 5 Today you will drive to the winelands and will stay for the next two nights at La Petite Ferme in a standard suite, including breakfast.

Day 7 Today you will drive to the Whale Coast in Hermanus, where you will stay for the next three nights at the Marine Hotel in a standard double room including breakfast.
Upgrade Option: To upgrade to Grootbos Nature Reserve in a suite at Forest or Garden Lodge including all meals and lodge activities please add £390 per person to the overall cost.

Day 10 Today you will drive to Plettenberg Bay where you will spend the next three nights at Periwinkle Guest Lodge in a standard room (with balcony) breakfast included.

Day 13 This morning you will drive onwards to the Eastern Cape and will stay at Woodbury Lodge, on Amakhala, for two nights on safari including all meals and 2 scheduled game viewing activities per day.
Upgrade Option: To upgrade to Amakhala's Reed Valley Bush Lodge in a room with private plunge pool please add £68 per person to the overall cost.

Day 15 Today you will drive back to Port Elizabeth airport and will fly back to London Heathrow via Johannesburg.

Day 16 Arrive early morning into London Heathrow
