Mkhaya Game Reserve

Mkhaya Game Reserve is one of the best places in Southern Africa to see black and white rhino.  Established in 1979 it protects a number of other endangered species including roan and sable antelope, tsessebe, buffalo and elephant. 

In the middle of the park Stone Camp has 12 comfortable stone cottages set amongst trees along the course of a dry riverbed.  Each cottage has an open front providing a true bush experience, whilst a giant sausage tree provides the camp's focal point under which many a campfire story has been shared.
