There are a variety of suites to suit any traveller, from luxury vineyard and manor house suites to more rustic self catering cottages and lakeside lodges.
- The Vineyard Suites are situated overlooking a vineyard of Sauvignon Blanc. They’re North West facing, providing long warm afternoons, each with a private plunge pool, and all within a two minute stroll from the reception area and restaurant.
- The Manor House Suites are situated adjacent to the restaurant, commanding a magnificent view over a vineyard of Merlot. A large swimming pool is shared exclusively by these four rooms.
- The two rustic self-catering cottages are set amongst vineyards, a mere ten minute stroll from the restaurant. These cottages are suitable for families and facilities include a private plunge pool, wooden fireplace and fully equipped kitchen.
- And the Lakeside Lodges are set high on the northern slopes of the magnificent Franschhoek Mountains in a beautiful garden that extends upwards into the Cape's unique Fynbos.
Overlooking a trout-filled lake and Franschhoek's charming village below, it is the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend of leisure. Inside the Lodges you will find everything you will require to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable. Cool in summer because of their higher altitude and cosy in winter with ceramic fireplaces and logs at the door.
The local area
Guests can join the daily wine tour, which guides them through the vineyard to the fermentation cellar and barrel cellar and allows them to sample the wines produced by La Petite Ferme.
Based in the Cape Winelands, there are of course many other wineries worth visiting – we particularly recommend the wine tasting and horseback tour offered by Paradise Stables.
Reached your wine saturation point? Try goats cheese and chocolate tasting that are also available in the local area. Guests can also partake in mountain biking, golf, tennis, bowls, fly fishing and even paragliding!
