Serengeti National Park
A vast expanse of flat savannah grasses stretching from horizon to horizon, broken only by an occasional gnarled acacia and rocky kopje, the Serengeti has some of the highest wildlife concentrations in the whole of Africa. Year round it is one of the best places to see the "big five"; elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo.
