The Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Serengeti are the main protected wildlife areas of northern Tanzania.
A safari to northern Tanzania usually takes between five and eight days and visits most of these national parks. The parks form a natural circuit – and therefore are often referred to as the Northern Circuit.
Northern Tanzania also spends much of its time as the home of the wildebeest migration, one the most awe inspiring natural spectacles. Many of the Serengeti Lodges are in an excellent location to view the migration.

Getting There
For Northern Tanzania guests can fly into Kilimanjaro airport via Nairobi - these connection times are very good and the flights are reliable and daily with Kenya Airways.
An alternative route is direct to Dar es Salaam with British Airways, and then connect with a light aircraft flight to Arusha or Manyara National Park.
