Lemala Serengeti is Lemala Ngorongoro's sister camp and offers a new luxurious dimension to following the wildebeest migration as it moves around the Serengeti. The camp is in a secluded area in Ndutu between December and March, and then moves to Northern Serengeti from June to October.

Lemala is one of the only camps which offer the wildebeest migration experience whilst it is on the
Tanzania and
Kenya border.
The camp is intimate with only 8 spacious and stylishly decorated tents each with a wooden platform. Each tent has either 2 large single beds or a king-size double bed and a private bathroom that contains a dressing area, flush loo, shower and basin with running water.
The mess has a cozy sitting room with large comfy sofas and a dining room.
From December to March, when the wildebeest are giving birth on the plains of Ndutu (Southern Serengeti) the camp is tucked
away in an acacia grove from where guests have a fabulous view of the spillway that extends from
Lake
Ndutu towards Kusini. The spillway's permanent salts and water attract a large amount of plains game that also visit the camp daily.
The predators are not far
away and use the grass cover on the edge of the spillway to plan their hunt. Lemala Serengeti in Ndutu offers exceptional game viewing. Game walks are also possible here, making this camp a must for your Northern Circuit safari.
From June to October, the camp sits on a large kopje overlooking the plains of
Northern Serengeti. The Wildebeest migration starts arriving in the area from June onwards and heads towards the
Mara
River only a few minutes from the camp.
The migration river crossings can be observed privately, without another person in sight. Large herds of zebra and wildebeest remain on the Serengeti side even when the migration spills into the Masai Mara and guests continue to enjoy excellent game viewing
away from the crowds up to November.
