The lodge is simple and impressive - with guest rooms in circular rondavel 'huts' designed loosely around a traditional Masai village.
 
Consisting of 66 thatched stone rooms, the rooms are spaced out along the outer edge of the hill overlooking the sweeping grasslands below.

A cleverly designed water feature surrounds the main public areas creating a cool and tranquil area to escape from the African sun, and there is also a good sized 'infinity' swimming pool overlooking the savannah.

Enjoying the high standards of service for which Serena properties are renowned this lodge is an excellent choice for a central Serengeti safari holiday and is also recommended for families.
