Intimate and exclusive, the spacious mobile safari tent camps of Serengeti Under Canvas allow guests the experience of a lifetime: the annual Great Migration. This natural phenomenon is a truly remarkable experience.

The camp features double beds, en suite bathrooms, separate w.c.’s, Indian rugs, crisp lines, sparkling crystal, polished brass and an al fresco bucket shower... all make for a luxuriously comfortable stay under the African skies.

Serengeti Under Canvas is made up of several different semi-permanent camps. Of these tented camps, there are usually two located within the Serengeti National Park: these tend to be in the south of the park from January to May, and then they move to the north of the national park for June to December.

Each Camp consists of six large, luxury tents with en-suite bucket showers which are open to the sky, and separate flush toilets. These have high-quality fixtures and fittings, including Indian rugs and percale linens.

There's also a stylish dining and lounge tent, where you'll be served using crystal glasses and silver and the food served is of the highest standard.

When camping within easy reach of Seronera area, the team at the camp will usually assist in organizing a hot-air ballooning trip (at extra cost).
