The camp enjoys an ideal position at the heart of this world-renowned area, surrounded by game country of unrivalled beauty and only a few kilometres from the stunning
The traditional safari tents nestle in the curve of a rippling sand-river. Tents are basic but comfortable. They are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, dressing rooms and open-roofed showers.
They have either double or twin beds and all have spacious verandas with excellent views of the surrounding bush. Family accommodation is also available.
Your stay at Mdonya can be as relaxed or action-packed as you wish. Activities for more adventurous guests include traditional game drives, river walks, and bush dining.
Other activities are can be arranged on request by our experienced camp manager.
For those with a more relaxed holiday in mind, the dry riverbed in front of the camp is often used by wildlife as a corridor and it is not unusual to see lion, buffalo, wild dog and elephant very close to camp.
