Mweya Safari Lodge is only a 45 minutes light aircraft flight from Entebbe and the lodge itself offers transport from Kampala. Relax with a sundowner around a roaring fire before going in to dine on some of Uganda's finest cuisine.

Each room is luxurious from the Presidents Cottage to the Royal Cottage, the Deluxe Suites and triple shares – all rooms have balconies overlooking the Channel and Lake Edward, private bathrooms. Mweya also boasts a swimming pool with a poolside bar, the Tembo Safari Bar and the Kazinga Restaurant.

2 hour boat trips on the channel are offered from the lodge, not only the best way to get up close and personal with the abundant hippo population, it is also an ornithologists dream. The birdlife is second to none, soaring fish eagles calling to their mate whilst an array of Kingfishers dive into the Kazinga for their dinner.
