Zambia safari holidays in the Lower Zambezi Valley

LOWER ZAMBEZI SAFARI LODGES

Some 450 kilometres downstream from Victoria Falls the great Zambezi River widens into the fertile floodplains of the Lower Zambezi valley. Rocky escarpments, scrub bush and over 120 kms of river frontage sustain prolific and varied wildlife. There are large prides of lion, wild dog, hyena and leopard. Huge buffalo herds roam the grasslands and elephants are frequently seen wading in the river. Activities include game drives, walking, fishing and canoeing safaris which are a particular highlight.

For a comprehensive list of all of our Lower Zambezi Lodges please see the menu on the left.

The season for all of these camps in the Lower Zambezi is from April to end November.
