North Luangwa
North Luangwa is particularly remote with very few roads. You can easily spend three days here without seeing another soul (apart from your safari guides of course). It is well suited to walking safaris and is noted for its large buffalo herds as well as lion, zebra, elephant and leopard.
Mwaleshi Camp is one of only a handful safari camps in the wild North Luangwa and offers a quite outstanding wilderness safari experience. Four comfortable reed and pole chalets overlook the scenic Mwaleshi River and days are spent on foot tracking the impressive wildlife and canoeing on the river. The remoteness of Mwaleshi Camp is enhanced by the lack of roads. Gameviewing is on primarily on foot.
Mwaleshi is open from June until the end of October each year. Prices from £205pp fully inclusive.
