The Dhow Palace

The Dhow Palace hotel is a small yet luxurious hotel situated in the heart of Zanzibar's historic Stone Town. Entering the hotel through a magnificent studded door and you are immediately struck by the cool and tranquil atmosphere – a world away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town.

The hotel  comprises some 28 rooms. Traditionally furnished with Sultan-size four poster beds, carved mahogany chests and marble topped tables – all have air-conditioning, television and en-suite bathrooms. Most of the rooms also have a balcony overlooking a central courtyard which has a good sized swimming pool.

A roof top restaurant has pleasant 360 degree views of Stone Town and serves food throughout the day. The hotel is under the same ownership as the Tembo Hotel, and no alcohol is served on the premises.
