Ocean Paradise Resort

Situated on Zanzibar’s picturesque North East coast, overlooking the turquoise Indian Ocean, Ocean Paradise is a resort hotel comprising 98 rooms including 2 junior suites. Arriving through the hotels imposing driveway you are greeted by a blaze of colour as the lush green gardens, white sandy beach and the largest swimming pool in Zanzibar come into view.

The rooms are situated in traditional African rondavels, but have all the modern creature comforts you could need including air conditioning and ceiling fans. Nestling under pitched makuti roofs, the majority of the rooms are sea facing and have large patio doors opening out onto the beautiful landscaped gardens.

There are plenty of secluded lounge areas where you can sit and take in the sedate pace of island life and two restaurants offer the unique flavours of Zanzibari cuisine, all grown and produced locally.

Zanzibar is renowned for its diving and Ocean Paradise Resort has its own PADI approved dive centre able to offer beginners courses as well as catering for experienced divers. Other activities include windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, volleyball, water polo, billiards and table tennis. Boat trips up and down the coast can also be arranged.
