 Established by the World Wildlife Federation (WWF), the Menai Bay Conservation Area was designed to give Zanzibaris in the Fumba area a vested interest in their environment so they will protect it.

Fumba Beach is set in 40 acres of exquisite wilderness with three naturally sheltered beaches, There are only 26 rooms, scattered throughout the extensive grounds, shaded by a forest of magnificent baobab trees and whispering palm fronds and cooled by gentle sea breezes. 

The twenty deluxe rooms, each with a private terrace and stunning ocean view - spaciously suitable for families, couples or individuals. Four luxury suites boast a private roof terrace, open air shower and sumptuous bath overlooking the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The cliff top swimming pool provides a breathtaking view of the Ocean. Fumba Beach have a fully equipped dive centre with the latest equipment, run by qualified PADI professionals. There are daily diving trips on the surrounding reefs, and PADI courses for the less experienced.
