Kikadini Villas

Kikadini Villas occupies a large beachfront plot on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, near the quiet, friendly village of Jambiani. Similar to a boutique hotel, with each villa serviced by its own chef and housekeeper. All of the buildings are spacious and each has an individual design, with lovely furnishings.

Kikadini Villas was started by Sylvia and Torgeir Barner – a Norwegian couple who fell in love with the area. In 1998 they designed and built the high-quality Villa Kikadini, as a holiday home. Gradually they built more villas, and now they have four (Villa Palm, Villa Maroc, Villa Pwani and Villa Kikadini). Each has an open-plan kitchen where the chef prepares fresh meals, and all the rooms have proper double beds (although single beds can be arranged to make a twin room). These Villas can be booked on an exclusive basis, or individual rooms within a Villa.

Jambiani Beach is wide and white, and with the help of a small local community, is one of the cleanest beaches on Zanzibar.
