Itinerary

Day 1
Check in at London Heathrow for Kenya Airways flight departing approx 20h00 for Nairobi.

Day 2 - 3
On arrival at 06h35 into Nairobi, transfer immediately onto a connecting Kenya Airways flight to Kilimanjaro (1 hour).

On arrival at approx 09h00 you will be met by your driver/guide and after a short introductory briefing, depart by road in your private 4WD vehicle for Tarangire National Park. On arrival into Tarangire you will stay at Oliver's Camp for the next two nights including all meals and game viewing activities. Tarangire is exceptional for large herds of elephant and buffalo.

Day 4
This morning you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park and will spend the rest of the day game viewing in the park.

At the end of the day, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (1 hour) and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, including all meals and game viewing activities.

Day 5
This morning as the sun rises you will descend into the crater for mornings game viewing on the crater floor, with a hamper lunch. In the evening drive back up onto the crater rim to stay overnight at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge including all meals and game viewing activities.

Days 6 - 9
Depart by road for the Loliondo area of the Serengeti. Loliondo is fantastic for game viewing and boasts excellent wild dog sightings, as well as great predator viewing and a natural abundance of non migratory herds.

During the journey you can stop at the Olduvai Gorge visitor centre (where you can view 3.6 million year old footprints of early man discovered by Dr. Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey). Just after leaving Olduvai, there is also the opportunity to stop at the interesting Shifting Sands.

After spending the rest of the day game viewing, arrive at Sayari Camp/Dunia Camp to stay for the next four nights fully inclusive of all meals and game viewing activities.

Day 10
After a morning game drive and breakfast you will be taken to the Loliondo airstrip in time for the late morning Regional Air flight to Arusha airport. On arrival you will transfer immediately onto the connecting Precision Air flight to Zanzibar (1 ½ hours).

Arrive in Zanzibar at approx 14h30 you will catch your onward flight to Pemba Island, where you will be met and transferred by road and boat to stay for next seven nights at Fundu Lagoon in an ocean view room including all meals.

Day 17
Late afternoon transfer to the airport (10mins) in time for your light aircraft flight to Zanzibar in order to connect with the Kenya Airways flight departing for Nairobi. On arrival transfer onto Kenya Airways flight departing 23h50 for London.
